Let’s take a second to talk....plastic. It’s convenient, innovative, part of practically everything we use and enjoy.... and it’s ruining our earth. Bad.
According to www.ecowatch.com, plastic takes anywhere from 500-1,000 years to degrade, and we as Americans throw away an overage of 185 pounds of plastic each year. Not only is this bad for the million sea birds and 100,000 marine animals that die each year from plastic polluting our oceans, this is also bad for us. Our species, our families. 93% of Americans, ages 6 an up tested positive to BPA, a chemical found in plastic.
With all things considered, it’s easy to see why Hippies at Home was inspired to help promote sustainability and change.
